Martijn(@martijndoolaard) is a long-distance cyclo-traveler, crossing cities and countryside, deserts and mountains of the world to meet people and maybe also himself. Between 2015 and 2016, he rode his Surly from Amsterdam 17,000 kilometers to Singapore. Between 2018 and 2019, he rode along the west coast of the Americas, from Vancouver to Patagonia. Martijn combines his love for cycling with his passion for photography and filmmaking. He published "One year on a bike," a great and richly illustrated book, and made a documentary capturing the highlights of his trips.

The evening of December 12 will be an hour-long interview. Martijn will shareย  pictures and videos of his trip accompanied with his commentary. He will then answer your questions. He will answer in English but you can ask him questions in any language. He will share his itineraries, travel tips and tricks, equipment advice and lots of great anecdotes. An ideal evening if you are planning a cycling trip yourself or if you are simply dreaming about it.
